Rajnikanth Website runs without Internet... Serious It works

KOLKATA: It may sound like anotherRajinikanth joke, but a new website dedicated to the superstar runs 'without an internet connection'!

Visitors to www.allaboutrajni.com are greeted with a warning that "He is no ordinary man, this is no ordinary website. It runs on Rajini Power" and are advised to switch off their internet connection to enter the website.
Only when the web is disconnected, one is allowed to explore the site.
Netizens can trace the story of the legend from the beginning, read inside scoops from his films and get a glimpse of behind-the-scenes action, while browsing through famous Rajini jokes about impossible feats only he can achieve.
"The unbelievable spectacle of running a website without the internet is a tribute to Rajinikant's larger than life image," claimed Webchutney's creative director Gurbaksh Singh, who developed the site for Desimartini.com.
With a heady mix of foot-tapping music, vibrant splash of colours, quirky quotes and illustrations, and icons in true Rajni style and lingo, the unique website reflects Rajini's signature style.
Singh told PTI that the website is based on a complex algorithm running in the back-end that keeps an eye on the propagation of data packets between two terminals.
Magic kicks in soon as the internet speed is down to zero, which is the basic premise on which the site and the concept has been constructed.
The humour element on the website is accentuated by the error message in typical Rajini style that appears if a visitor attempts to re-connect the internet.
"Aiyyo! That was unexpected. To keep browsing, switch off your internet," reads the message.
"The website has received a phenomenal response and has gone viral with several thousand hits and counting, along with innumerable shares and mentions across the web, especially on popular social networking sites like Facebook and Twitter," Singh said.
"After a few iterations and testing, we cracked the code required to build the world's first website that runs without the internet - a website that runs offline - which is as awesome and unbelievable as miracles and stunts associated or performed by Rajni himself," he said.

Arfa Karim : The youngest Microsoft Certified Professional Dies

Computer prodigy and Microsoft's youngest certified professional Arfa Karim passed away this weekend. She was 16 years old.
Arfa Karim

Karim had been in a coma since late December, when she suffered an epileptic seizure and cardiac arrest. Although according to The Express Tribune, she had shown recent improvements, doctors were unable to save her after a tracheotomy complication on Saturday resulted in bleeding in her throat.
In a statement to The Express Tribune, Karim's uncle said, "We are grieving her loss but she was a strong child. [...] She was God's gift to us and now she has returned to Him."

Arfa Karim

Karim, a native of Pakistan, became the youngest Microsoft certified professional (MCP) in 2005 at the age of 9. According to CNET, Karim became interested in technology when her father bought her a computer to use for email.

After receiving the MCP title, Karim was invited to visit Microsoft's Redmond, Washington campus by then-Chairman Bill Gates. During the visit the 10 year-old toured Microsoft's labs and met with executives, including a one-on-one meeting with Gates himself.
In January, after Karim's hospitalization, Gates reached out to her family and offered to pay for her medical care, reports Geo.TV. Gates also floated the idea of moving Karim to the United States, but since she was on a ventilator her doctors decided against the move.

According to the Seattle P-I, the "Microsoft Certified Professional" title is awarded to people who master Microsoft programs. Microsoft notes on its website, "Microsoft Certifications bring valuable, measurable rewards to students, IT professionals, their managers, and the organizations that employ them. These certifications are designed to provide the recognition you need to help you excel in your career and provide employers with validation of your skills."

Although, even younger people have since received the designation, it is most commonly a way for adults already in the computer field to further their careers.

But Karim was no ordinary young person. During an interview with the Seattle P-I, quoted in Geek Wire, she demonstrated some surprisingly mature views for a 10-year-old. Karim told interviewer Todd Bishop, "If you want to do something big in your life, you must remember that shyness is only the mind. If you think shy, you act shy. If you think confident you act confident. Therefore never let shyness conquer your mind."

Karim was reportedly working on a project for NASA at the time of her hospitalization.

Why is Manav leaving Pavitra Rishta??

Why is Manav leaving Pavitra Rishta???

It’s shocking to see Manav (Sushant Singh Rajput) leaving Pavitra Rishta. But the question which pops up in a fan’s mind is, Why is Manav leaving Pavitra Rishta??? He is such an awesome actor and got the show up and running. He has an awesome fan-base and he is the front-runner of the Pavitra Rishta.

But for the fans here the answer for Why is Manav leaving Pavitra Rishta???

Manav (Sushant Singh Rajput) is aspiring to be a director. I will believe it’s a very courageous decision taken by him. He is no doubt an awesome actor, but he will also be a great director. He will fly to London to learn the art of direction.  He said, “Earlier it was reported that Sushant was planning to quit the show by Diwali however he has taken his decision and will leave the show by the month end. The actor will end his long stint with the show on Aug 27 which will be his last day of shoot.” He also said that he won’t do any more TV shows and will have full focus on his aspirations.

Sushant was praising soap queen Ekta Kapoor, as he said, "Yes, my last day on 'Pavitra Rishta' is this week. The show surely has given me a lot and I am grateful to Ekta Kapoor for giving me the opportunity to be in this soap. And I am sure even if I'm leaving the show; it will be a hit as Ekta very well knows what our viewers want!"

So who’s the new Manav?

Its Hiten Tejwani… Hiten is nothing compared to Sushant in looks and personality ...Anyway , who cares ...as long as the show goes ( hopefully not for long ) will only see Ankita's parts on the computer…..  At least Sharad was good looking; this guy just sucks

Cheapest Car in India...

Bajaj RE60 four-wheeler unveiled

The Bajaj RE60 is modern India's answer to safe, convenient and economical commercial transport on the road

Bajaj RE60 four-wheeler unveil in Delhi

Four years after Bajaj Auto showcased its ‘small car’ at the 2008 Auto Expo, the two- and three-wheeler giant has unveiled what it calls the RE60. “It is not a car. It’s a four wheeler,” said Rajiv Bajaj while addressing the media at hotel Taj Palace in New Delhi.

The RE60 will be built at Bajaj Auto’s Aurangabad plant and the launch will take place in a few months from now. The company refused to divulge the price. However, it said that the RE60 will deliver close to 40 kmpl and emit only 60g/km of CO2, making it one of the most fuel-efficient and green vehicles in the market.

The RE60 caters to the commercial passenger segment and is designed to gradually replace the autorickshaw as a mode of transport. And the Bajaj MD has a point, as the RE60, complete with four wheels and doors, is a much safer and convenient mode of transport compared to the three-wheeler autorickshaw.

The four-wheeler will have a 200cc, water-cooled, fuel-injected DTSi engine that will put out roughly 20 PS of power but the light kerb weight of just 400 kgs gives the vehicle a power to weight ratio similar to A-segment cars in India. The engine is mounted at the rear of the four-wheeler and as a result boot space is limited to 44 litres.

On the inside, the RE60 base model comes with an integrated digital fare meter in the dashboard

On the inside, the RE60 makes no fuss about what it is. The base model comes with an integrated digital fare meter in the dashboard. The instrument cluster is on the center of the dashboard with the gear lever just underneath it. The indicator and headlamp stalks are in the correct place on both sides of the steering wheel, which like that of a traditional four wheeler is circular in shape. The RE60 is designed to seat four passengers including the driver. That’s two upfront and two at the back.

While the RE60 is designed to be a commercial passenger vehicle Rajiv Bajaj does not rule out the possibility of the vehicle entering various peripheral segments as is the case with its three wheelers. Bajaj recalled Delhi Chief Minister Shiela Dikshit’s reaction to the RE60’s design as saying, “The autorickshaws are an eyesore for tourists and visitors.” It is true that the RE60 does look better than the autorickshaw, however, the biggest advantage of the four-wheeler over three wheelers is the enhanced safety thanks to a better balance.
